Playtesting notes

Well, it finally happened. Dale LaCroix, (aka: "#1 Playtester," one-third of Evil Games Club, and Mark's wife) joins your nice hosts in the clubhouse to talk about playtesting!

Stephen writes down everything Dale says about what it takes to be a good playtester, Martha laughs at all of Dale's jokes, and Mark deals with the fact that his wife doesn't really like his game.

We also talked about the recent solar eclipse. Check out Martha's photo, taken at the moment of totality

Playtesting

This isn't the first time we've talked about playtesting on the show. We talked about it on the Interview with Nic VanMeerten

Dale grew up playing computer games, but rediscovered her love of gaming with the more modern generation of consoles, starting when she insisted that she and husband Mark buy a then hard to come by Wii. Since then she can boast that she owns seven videogame consoles to her husband’s three.

Dale manages the Nice Games Club Twitter account (@nicegamesclub) where she mostly posts and retweets nice things, but can promise it won’t be free of the swears, or sarcastic comments about Gwent.

Dale claims to be the #1 Playtester, a title she gave herself. But don’t take her feedback too seriously, especially if she says your game is too hard because she’s not particularly good at games. Dale is also a part of the Evil Games Club where she also likes to give critical feedback to the Nice Games Club.
